Remember calling that masculine guy in the gym a “fitness freak”? Yes, he might be, but if someone is religiously getting up every day, going for a walk, jogging or just spreading the mat and exercising a bit is equally dedicated to fitness. It is more of a choice than a meagre influence when it comes to exercise. In the truest sense, movement is joy, and whichever way you are doing it should not fail at imparting that.
Weight is such an illusionary term. Yes, going from 90 kgs to 70 kgs is an achievement, but forcing your weighing scale to show 70 kgs in the morning and at night is just asking your body to behave well when it is already doing so. Think of the pressure you are putting on it; that is mean! Your body weight keeps fluctuating, and that is not an essential component indicating fitness.
Fitness is such an integrative concept paving the way for well-being. It is more like wanting to get up every morning excited to move the body joyfully, eat a bowl of juicy fruits and set off for work with energy, enthusiasm and vigour.
